the place was fairly clean and we loved deluxe room. the staff were excellent and respectful and the location was amazing in the center of avenida 9 julio.

Fantastic base for exploring Buenos Aires. Nice staff and the place was clean. Location - marvellous and phenomenal very close to the center of Avenida 9 Julio, Buenos Airies sites and a new bus station 1km away close to Alem metro station at the corner of Av. Easy walk to Obelisco. Warm room, extremely comfy beds, clean bathroom. Plenty of facilities such as: an electronic key card, a work desk, and a TV set...

Not very friendly staff!

It's a newly renovated and fairly clean hotel, rooms are immaculately clean and ideal. The location is magnificent and amazing, a 10-15 minute walking distance from a famous plaza. The bets part that it's right by the center of Avenida 9 Julio, and many restaurants.

Good service, the breakfast is EXCELLENT. The units are modern, warm with a comfortable bed. Everyone who works in the hotel is excellent and respectful.

Since the older gentleman I was guiding to a wedding of his grand-daughter had a nasty fall right at Republica's front door I rec'd a room a few hours before normal check-in time. They helped me pick him up and ushered him to a seat in the lobby. The staff provided some elementary medical attention like tissues and cotton to stem the bleeding on and out of his nose. This was appreciated but the dangerous 60 mm lip/edge just ahead of the mat which can be missed by those stepping in from bright sunlight and by all wearing bi-focals should be fixed.

The rooms on the brochures/webpages were photographed with super wide angle lenses. The rooms are actually very small. Even on the 6th floor we were innundated by hundreds of tiny ants. It was OK.

The view from my room offered a fine panorama of the nearby landmarks. The friendliness of the staff made every interaction pleasant, especially during dining hours.

The location is excellent.

The breakfast is not that good. The fruits were old and there was not too much variety for a 4 start hotel. The room as well were not that nice.

The location is great, couldn't ask for better. Price was right for the room. The spa is very good. Only go for the deluxe room. Breakfast was good. Wifi worked great and we were on the 10th floor.

It is very noisy. Rooms are small.

The location is perfect, just a minute from the alem metro station and near the obelisk. The view from my beautiful room was amazing and the balcony was spacious enough to enjoy it. The room service was a highlight, especially the delicious sirloin steak!

The check-in process was a bit confusing.
